The firm's display advertisement appears in this one bound volume in two states — "Reindahl & Dabbs … Our exhibit of new instruments awarded medal at Paris Exposition 1900" and "K. Reindahl … My exhibit of new instruments awarded medal at Paris Exposition 1900" — same frame, same goods, same room 300, the partner and the pronoun deleted. Which state ran first cannot be observed without issue-level images; the sequence is argued in research/14-partnership-and-exposition.md 2.3 from the room numbers and the exposition catalogue, and is an argument, not a reading. The volume also prints a testimonial headed "Reindahl & Dubbs, Chicago:" and signed by Alexander Bull, son of Ole Bull — an endorsement Reindahl went on carrying in his solo advertising for more than a decade, addressed here to the firm.
