The identification of this Olav Breivik — 62, born Norway, “makes & rep. violins” in his own musical-instrument shop — with the man who completed the 1935 Reindahl violin in 1946 rests on name, trade, origin and the Milwaukee area agreeing; no document yet ties this household to that instrument. He is the only Olav in the census name index's three Breivik/Brevik households in Wisconsin.
