Record details
A different printing state from the Google Books copy this library holds as panam-catalogue-1901: the guide was revised through the fair’s run (May–November 1901), and this fuller, descriptive-style printing carries Ropes, Motznik and Regina but not the Reindahl & Dabbs line. Read as OCR downloaded whole, never from a page image, and the folio 113 comes from the OCR stream’s own page marker, in the Musical Instruments section. The held OCR (sources/ocr/panam_a.txt) is byte-identical — MD5 7a17d00c42d141747664832291df5579 — to this item’s officialcatalog00panaa_djvu.txt, fetched fresh 12 August 2026 (sources/incoming/verify-panam/), so the local file’s identity is settled by checksum, not inference. The entry as the machine text gives it: “Ropes, Walter S., North Adams, Mass. Violin. B—24.” A catalogue of exhibitors: it records presence, not awards.
