    1. Anderson, John II. — Glasgow. Geboren 25. Dez. 1856 in Aberdeen.
    2. Sohn und Schüler vvn John I., A. Er hat sehr viele Geigen nach Stradivari gebaut, ist ein vorzüglicher Geiger und Violinlehrer und auch sonst sehr musikalisch.
    4. Anderson, Henry. — Edinburgh. Geb. in Auchtermuchty 1839.
    5. Er war ursprünglich Tischler, hat es aber als Geigenmacher zu grosser Geschicklichkeit gebracht und über 100 Geigen nach Guarneri gebaut. Sein Lack ist meist gelb oder mahagonifarben. Er gebraucht keine Zettel, sondern schreibt seinen Namen mit Feder oder Bleistift in seine Geigen und bringt aussen einen Brandstempel an.
    7. Andre & Co., eine 1885 gegründete Geigenmacherfirma in London.
