British Violin Makers, W. Meredith Morris. London: Robert Scott, 1920. Scan 213. Held as more than one scan.
HARROD, ROBERT, London and Oxford: about 1810-30. High model, dark varnish, workmanship good. I recently saw a viola of his make, which was evidently copied from one of Duke's violas; it was made in St. Peter's Churchyard, Oxon, 1812. It had a very fair tone.
