3THE SOUND-POST.
5The sound-post should be 1/4 inch in diameter, and placed behind the foot of the bridge. Other particulars respecting this important part have been given in previous chapters.
7THE BRIDGE.
9The bridge should have 8 parts between outer edge of the feet; its height should be 6 1/2 parts.
11THE NECK.
13The neck should be 27 parts long from the extremity of the peg-box to the sides of the violin.
