Both scans read from page images on 12 August 2026, in the same typesetting. The leaf floats — one copy binds it in the front matter, the other after p. 65 — and printed p. 66 continues an article mid-word, so which number the insert belongs to is not established beyond “the 1908 volume, beside the November 1908 number.” The Publishers column lists The Violinist Company, 378 Wabash Avenue: this is the same syndicated directory The Violinist carried, in an earlier state — with Robert Pelz, without Willebald Stenger. Its makers' column includes Reindahl (Athenaeum Bldg.), Rush (Aurora), Ulbrich-Tatter, Van Dorston (824 W. Van Buren St.). The teachers' columns print both “Van Dusen, Frank W., Kimball Hall” and “Van Dorston, Frank W., Kimball Hall” — one may be a compositor's error for the other.
