1MAESTRO VIOLIN
2Style G1033
4These violins are patterned after the celebrated Paganini Guarnerius, date 1742, now in the Municipio in Genoa, and made at the time when Guarnerius was doing his best work. Its splendid proportions are conducive to great power and quality. The workmanship, inside and out, is of the highest character, every detail that a conscientious maker might observe having been given the closest attention. The wood is of the most careful selection, is very old and thoroughly seasoned. It is covered with a pure oil varnish, in the style of the celebrated Vuillaume, whose copies of Stradivarius and Guarnerius are among the best extant. The tone is even in all positions, responsive, elastic, large and far carrying.
