A town on its own line is one of the directory's headings. That is where the town on a maker's page comes from.
1Chordephon.
2Sensational Novelty! "CHORDEPHON."
3A MECHANICAL ZITHER, with circular interchangeable metal note disks. Can be played with a crank or with a clock work which also can be used as a driving power for a rent's clock, etc. The only mechanical Zither now calling the Concert Zither in sweetness of tone and perfect rendering of sentimental as well as lively music. Produces correct and smooth tone, unlike the various Accord Zithers, where accents and melody are heard separately and unnecessarily. Vibrations of the strings are regulated by a most ingenious mechanism of dampers. Keeps in tune as well as a piano. Patented in most countries.
