Dated from the title page (“TWENTY-NINTH YEAR … 1916-OAKLAND-1916 … Copyright 1916”) and from the running head on every leaf. archive.org's machine-made page-number index is WRONG for two of these leaves — it calls the Aschow alphabetical leaf p.115 where the leaf prints 114, and the Violin and Bow Makers leaf p.1441 where the leaf prints 1435 and the volume's own index of advertisements cites Aschow at 1435. Folios read off the leaves. The bold entries and the advertisement are paid matter: Aschow's own description of himself.
