FOR ENSEMBLE PLAYING
This collection will be found convenient for use in Clubs and Orchestras. The SOLO PART can be taken by Violin, Mandolin, Tenor Banjo, Flute or C Melody Saxophone.
The 2nd Mandolin book may also be used by Violin or Tenor Banjo.
The Guitar accompaniment book shows the names of chords under the notes; a feature which makes the book of equal value for Guitar, Ukulele, Standard Banjo or Tenor Banjo. This is done in the following manner: Each chord, as it appears in these accompaniments, is labeled with its name or title C.G.D. or whatever the chord may be. If the player of Guitar, Ukulele, Standard Banjo or Tenor Banjo is in doubt as to how the chord is played, he need only refer to the last pages of the Guitar book, where is shown in simple diagram form, every chord correctly fingered for his particular instrument.
The Piano accompaniment book may be used in any of the various combinations mentioned.
