FOREWORD
In issuing the 1918 edition of the South Pasadena City Directory the publishers feel that they are giving to their subscribers the most complete volume of its kind ever issued in this city. Great care has been taken to secure accurate information as to names and addresses of residents and business houses.
For the first time the directory lists residents down to fifteen years of age, which includes students in the High school. This is a valuable addition that will be highly appreciated by those who use the directory.
Another new feature is the listing of all automobile owners, giving the number of cars each owns and the make of each car. Never before has this information been compiled in connection with a South Pasadena city directory.
Care has been taken to make the business directory just as accurate as the residence directory, so that it can be depended upon as being as nearly perfect as is humanly possible. It is with a sense of satisfaction that the volume is presented to the public.
