3WRITES IN "THE STRAD" FOR APRIL, 1892—
5but I have nearly all good reliable Works anent the Violin, 'THE VIOLIN: HOW TO MASTER IT,' and 'THE SECRETS OF VIOLIN PLAYING.' I bless the day when I bought these two Works at 1s. each. If I knew them as I do now and could not procure them under £1 each, I should be heartily glad to become their proud owner at that price. I do not know the writer personally, and only speak from the sheer benefit I have derived from his Works. Would that there were more writers like him!"
