Record details

A reprint: the trade paper prints the Academy membership roll “from the current issue of The Violin World,” whose original printing has not been located. The page was fetched and transcribed in full, first-hand, for this project (research file 07), but from the eLibrary’s machine text rather than a verified page image, and the transcription marks the OCR’s letterform garbles rather than cleaning them. The roll lists “George S. Conway, Newark, O.” among the founding members, alongside Knute Reindahl and three Gemunders — August M., Rudolph F. and Oscar A.
