    6. GAGLIANO, GIUSEPPE, Naples, 1725, d. 1793. Second son of Nicolo Gagliano and brother of Ferdinando, Antonio and Giovanni. He worked scrupulously after his father's model, and was able to give his instruments a beautifully clear tone. In later years, he worked with his brother Antonio.
