    1. A. Dölling in Erfurt besitzt ein prachtvoll klingendes und vorzüglich gearbeitetes Violoncello von ihm mit feurigem dunkelbraunen Lack. Der Boden ist zweiteilig und die Schnecke prächtig gestochen.

    5. Nachdem er anfangs in Vicenza gearbeitet hatte, ließ er sich nach 1780 in Venedig nieder, wo er in hohem Alter starb. Er soll jedoch in der Zwischenzeit mehrfach nach Vicenza zurückgekehrt sein und dort gearbeitet haben. Seine Geigen sind nicht besonders gut.
