    2. Er scheint in Prag gelernt zu haben; wenigstens ist eine von ihm gebaute Geige, die er dort in seinem 18. Jahre gemacht hat, bekannt. Er lebte dann bis etwa 1837 in Saar, wo er sich auch mit Franziska Vorliček verheirathete. Ende 1837 erlangte er das Bürgerrecht der kgl. Leibgedingstadt Chrudim, doch scheint er auch hier als Geigenmacher nicht auf seine Rechnung gekommen zu sein, da er nebenbei noch einen „Kleinhandel“ betreiben musste. Seine Geigen waren sauber gearbeitet und klangen gut.

    1. Er scheint in Prag gelernt zu haben wenigstens ist eine von ihm gebaute Geige, die er dort in seinem achtzehnten Jahre gemacht hat, bekannt. Er lebte dann bis etwa 1837 in Saar, wo er 1820 in zweiter Ehe Franziska Vorlíček heiratete. Ende 1837 erlangte er das Bürgerrecht der königl. Leibgedingstadt Chrudim, doch scheint er auch hier als Geigenmacher nicht auf seine Rechnung gekommen zu sein, da er nebenbei noch einen »Kleinhandel« betreiben mußte. Seine Geigen waren sauber gearbeitet und klangen gut.
