    5. Unter den angedeuteten Voraussetzungen der Sohn von Giovanni Fl. Ein fleissiger Meister, von dem man Geigen aller Art und Lauten kennt. Er hatte sein eigenes, oft grosses Modell, das an deutsche Vorbilder erinnert, aber flache Wölbung, scharfe Ecken, oft sehr breite, am Boden, der meist aus einem Stück ist, schmälere Einlage. Trefflicher, dick aufgetragener Lack von grosser Feinheit und leuchtender Farbe (meist rothbraun auf gelbem Grund). Eine Bassgeige (oder Cello) von 1711 befand sich in der Selhof'schen Sammlung.
