4The model followed in this violin is that of Stradivarius in his Golden Period, 1710-20. The pattern is broad and flat, insuring great strength and carrying power, and the instrument is heavy in wood. The trimmings are of the finest ebony and the wood throughout is of a very high quality. Every detail of workmanship is executed with the greatest care.

15This instrument is intended for orchestra use, as well as that of the student. In appearance it will please the eye of the most critical connoisseur. It is finished in a slight imitation of an old violin, after the manner of Vuillaume, the celebrated French maker, and the model is that of Stradivarius. Wood is of excellent quality throughout and trimmings are of choice ebony.
