39No. 1711
40This fine stick so closely resembles the style of François Tourte, that it has for many years been accepted as by his hand, having been sold by reputable dealers in good faith, and certified as such. We however ascribe it to François Lupot, and recommend it as a superb playing bow. It is a round stick, nicely marked, rich brown in color. The elegant head has silver plate. Silver-mounted ebony frog and button.
42Four hundred and fifty dollars
