25Jean Adam worked approximately from 1790 to 1820. His son, Jean Dominique Adam (1795-1864), produced splendid bows, exceptional in choice of wood, beautifully finished and mounted.

28A very fine octagonal stick, in very fresh condition. Good head, with silver plate. Silver-mounted ebony frog, with pearl eyelets and slide. Button of ebony with silver rings. The stick has fine strength, and is light brown in color.
