RARE BOWS FOR VIOLIN, VIOLA, VIOLONCELLO . . . WURLITZER
VIOLIN BOWS by SIMON PAJEOT
Mirecourt, 1791–1849
This industrious master produced a large number of good bows of differing styles; his best work is indeed fine and desirable.
The work of his father, Louis Simon Pajeot, is often mistaken for that of Simon; he worked approximately from 1780 to 1795. His heads are less artistic in pattern, but the sticks have excellent playing qualities.
