    1. Bourdet, Jean Sébastien. — Mirecourt. Geb. im Beginn des XVIII. Jahrh.
    2. Ueber seine Lebenszeit gehen die Nachrichten weit aus einander. Während Jacquot und Vidal das 18. Jahrhundert als seine Zeit angeben, setzen ihn Andere ein Jahrhundert zurück und lassen ihn 1620 leben, und wieder Andere sagen, er sei 1530 geboren und habe 1555 in Paris gelebt. Man hat es da vielleicht mit drei gleichnamigen Mitgliedern der Familie zu thun.
    4. Bourgard, Jean. — Nancy. 1775. 1786.
    5. Er stammte aus Prag und hiess ursprünglich Burghardt. Seine Geigen sind meist ohne Sorgfalt ausgeführt und haben braunen Lack, doch giebt es auch bessere Arbeiten von ihm, die schönen, rothen Lack zeigen. Er schloss sich der französischen Schule an und machte oder handelte wenigstens mit allen möglichen Saiteninstrumenten.
